Virtual chanel sound in OBS does not get adjusted when I move my fader

Hey guys,

I have the rodecaster duo and I stream with OBS.
I also use the virtual driver from rode to split my audio mix to virtual channels. It allows me in obs to route each sound to a virtual channel created by the rode driver.
Each channel is controlled by my fader from my rodecaster duo.
-Mic
-Discord
-Music
-System(game + alert..)

The output speaker(What I am hearing) is perfect. When i move my fader, volume gets adjusted.

However, the sound that gets captured in OBS does not change.
It stays the same no matter what I do with my fader.

In this example, my music fader is muted, yet obs still picks up sound.

Chrome is indeed routed to music rodecaster virtual channel.

My mic is not affected. However, music and all other sources still having the same issue.

When I change/mute mic channel, the sound picked up by OBS seems to be correct.

In OBS, Mic is getting picked up as "Audio Input Capture" whereas the rest is "Audio Output Capture" May be that is the cause. Though, I do not see in OBS any of my virtual channel in Audio Input Capture in (Music, Game,...) except from my mic virtual channel.

What to do is it from rodecaster or OBS? Many thanks for your help

Did you ever fix this? Im in exactly the same position, my fader adjustment is being heard in my headphones, but in obs with music channel it remains the same. The only way I can adjust it, is put the music on the same channel as usb1 chat but then thats mixed with other sources like mic which makes separating audio pointless.

FOUND IT !

This will hopefully help anybody searching for the same issue.
The way to get the faders working with multiple virtual outputs is by changing your device settings. It will look like a mess, and you should not touch it after you set up everything.

Here's how:
- First follow the steps to enable multitrack for your Rodecaster Duo or your Rodecaster Pro (https://rode.com/en-de/user-guides/rodecaster-duo/virtual-devices)
- In Outputs > Multitrack your "USB 1 Input" should be "Expanded"
AND
- In Outputs > Multitrack your "USB 1 Output" should be "Post-fader"

Now you will see a list of Faders appear in your Windows settings:

There's a total of 9 faders now available.
They will now also be available in OBS:

The number reflects the position you put the sources on your Rodecaster.
That's why you don't want to touch it, since if you move something, two faders will change and you need to check iof all the numbers are right.

So, make up your mind, which sources you would like at which position on your Rodecaster and then start assigning them correctly.
That way if you move the fader for music down for example, the music in OBS will get quieter.

Hope that helps :)
